Connect an AI assistant

Ask your AI assistant about your car, plan trips and send routes to your phone. Setup takes about two minutes. Nothing is shared until you approve it in the Orontes Drive app.

Your assistant

Claude

Works on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it first.

Steps

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Tap “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”.
  3. Name it Orontes Drive, paste the server address and tap “Add”.
  4. Tap “Connect” next to Orontes Drive.

In a chat, turn Orontes Drive on under + → Connectors.

ChatGPT

Works on every ChatGPT plan, Free included. In Business and Enterprise workspaces an admin may need to allow it.

Steps

  1. Open chatgpt.com/plugins (Plugins) in a browser.
  2. Tap “Add” at the top right, then “Add custom MCP server”.
  3. Name it Orontes Drive. Under Connection, choose “Server URL” and paste the server address.
  4. Keep Authentication on OAuth, tick the acknowledgement box and tap “Create as plugin”.

In a new chat, type @ and pick Orontes Drive.

Gemini

The Gemini app doesn't offer custom connectors for personal Google accounts yet. Gemini Enterprise teams can add MCP servers only with a manually registered client, which Orontes Drive doesn't support. Use Claude, ChatGPT or Grok for now.

Grok

Available to every Grok user. In Business and Enterprise teams an admin adds it first.

Steps

  1. Open grok.com/connectors.
  2. Tap “New Connector”, then “Custom”.
  3. Paste the server address and start the sign-in.

Grok uses Orontes Drive in your chats from then on.

Other MCP app

Steps

  1. Add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) and paste the server address.
  2. Leave authentication on OAuth. The app registers itself and opens a sign-in page.

Apps on a computer show as unverified. Approve only one you set up yourself.

Then approve on your phone

A page with a code opens. Open its link on your phone or scan its QR code, check the code, choose cars and permissions, then tap Allow.

You choose these when you approve and can change them at any time.

Your safety net

  • Car commands stay off until you turn them on.
  • Every car command waits for you. Your phone shows it and nothing happens until you tap Approve. Unlocking, the trunk and remote start also ask for Face ID or your phone's screen lock.
  • You get a notification after each command.
  • Disconnect any assistant in the app under Settings → Security → AI Connections at any time. It loses access at once.

Assistants that need a fixed key

Some assistants, like Grok bots, can only send a fixed header. Create a connection token in the app under Settings → Security → AI Connections, then send it as Authorization: Bearer odct_…. Anyone holding it gets its permissions until it expires or you disconnect it.
