Privacy policy

If you create an account, the service stores the account and sign-in details needed to log you in. A beta application stores the email address, city, vehicle description, selected test interests, language, consent time, and submission timestamps needed to review and contact applicants.

Route planning and navigation use origin, destination, waypoints, current location, the route’s path on the map, charging stops, and trip progress. Saved places, favorites, route preferences, and completed-trip records are stored when you choose those features.

Community profiles store your username, ghost, badges, points, friendships and preset pings.

Map visibility and Bluetooth discovery are off until you enable them. Friends see precise location only with your permission; public map positions are approximate. Sharing runs while the app is open or navigation is active; a disconnected position disappears within 45 seconds.

Bluetooth exchanges temporary identifiers that only opted-in friends can resolve. Accepting a copilot invitation shares this trip’s route and driver progress and permits live changes to stops and destination until the session ends. Ride Together acceptance also creates a friendship.

Pings are retained for up to one day; expired invitations and ended route sessions are removed by periodic cleanup. Profile and achievement data remain until account deletion and are included in account export.

If you connect Tesla or supported OBD telemetry, Orontes Drive processes the vehicle data needed for the features you enable, such as battery, range, charging, speed, location, and when the vehicle connection last updated. Vehicle connection can be removed from the app.

In supported languages, speech is transcribed on your device if the required language model is installed. If you turn on Cloud Voice, microphone audio may instead be sent securely to Apple’s speech-recognition service when on-device recognition is unavailable.

Orontes Drive receives the resulting transcript—not the raw microphone audio—and sends the transcript to its AI providers used by the assistant to answer the request.

Assistant transcripts may remain in the account’s conversation history for up to one year. Cloud Voice is off by default, can be turned off in the app’s Privacy Settings, and is not required for typed assistant requests. Post-drive safety clarification remains on device and never uses this cloud service.

Road-safety features may process motion, GPS, route position, radar records, average-speed sections, and explicit reports. TestFlight diagnostic and feedback flows are isolated from public hazard evidence and remain subject to in-app sharing controls.

If enabled, notifications and Live Activities use device tokens and route state needed to deliver the requested update. You can change notification permission in system settings and supported preferences in the app.

We keep security, error and performance logs to authenticate requests, prevent abuse and investigate failures. These logs help us maintain the routing, charging, vehicle, notification, incident and assistant services.

Data is shared only with infrastructure and service providers needed to operate enabled features, with other users when you choose social sharing, or when required by law. Orontes Drive does not sell personal data. Charging-network logos or data do not imply a commercial partnership.

Retention depends on the feature and how long the service needs the data. The app provides account-data export and account-deletion flows. Beta applicants may request access, correction, or deletion of application data through the privacy contact below.

Orontes Drive uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data processed. The product is not directed to children under 13.
